Art Sherman won the feature at GGF, a $40,000 sprint stakes, with razor-sharp Carthage. Very nice, but at Santa Anita, he deadheated for the win in a classified allowance worth $63,000, with Greenie. What's next, a Derby Trail horse? :ThmbUp:

That was some race! The Fractions on that race were incredible.......was the track souped up today? I just happen to catch the race while surfing.........

IMHO GGF and SA are both now running moderately fast- not as fast as Sunday, but fast enough so time decreases as purse level increases.
Art Sherman claimed a bunch of nice horses last year and has seemed to be getting the right jockey for the right horse enough times to show. See if he gets Gonzales for early speed types. Steve Myadi was just claiming everything in sight.
