In looking at the Oaklawn charts for Saturday, Robby Albarado rode throughout the card. But if you read the BLOODHORSE, Robby Albarado was aboard GULCH APPROVAL for Marylou Whitney in winning the feature race.

A couple of days ago, this same BLOODHORSE site reported on the injury of jockey David Lopez at Aqueduct. The writer quoted the jockey's agent GEORGE V. Could that have been the famous jockey turned agent, Jorge Velasquez?

Where are the fact checkers????

It's not fair to the rider that won the $100,000 added Grade 3 Appleton Handicap at Gulfstream that he does not get recognized by the main national horse racing press. And many newspapers will pick up the Bloodhorse mistake compounding the error.

I wonder how that mistake was made :)

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning the mistake, but I can see how it happened.

DRF has it right, so does Thoroughbred Times, ESPN & CNNSI.

NTRA & The Bloodhorse do not.
