So much for Plame NOT being Covert according to testimony released from Fitzgerald's investigation. And it is interesting that as truth comes out from the court records it was in fact Cheney that revealed the information to Libby by Libby's admission under oath. Just as expected.

For all youse reality challenged bushmen, a dose of facts.
Illustrated to facilitate waking up. :jump: :jump:
Documented for your perusal.

"Libby wanted Secretary of State Colin Powell to make allegations about Saddam and al-Qaeda before the United Nations Security Council. Powell was also pressed by someone to bring up the Niger uranium story.

Powell is said to have exclaimed, "I'm not reading this bullshit!"

Libby appears to have been a big influence on the speech Powell gave, almost every detail of which was inaccurate, and at which United Nations officials who heard it openly laughed".

hcap;

How can anyone lose credibility with a body that has no credibility at all? I'm sure Powell isn't losing any sleep over it and neither am I.

This is from the Juan Cole post: "He went, and soon saw that the uranium industry in Niger was actually under the control of French companies and was strictly monitored."

And then he goes on with the rest of his tale as if there is nothing more to say about that.

Juan Cole is a fool and a tool.

Kendall,

Nope, but maybe Fitzgerald can since he got from the CIA that Plame was covert.

This story has legs. We know cheney supplied permission and info to libby. Valerie plame has been verified as covert. More importantly the crew at the CIA will not walk the plank for bush

Now...

Outed CIA officer was working on Iran, intelligence sources say

Published: February 13, 2006

The unmasking of covert CIA officer Valerie Plame Wilson by White House officials in 2003 caused significant damage to U.S. national security and its ability to counter nuclear proliferation abroad, RAW STORY has learned.

According to current and former intelligence officials, Plame Wilson, who worked on the clandestine side of the CIA in the Directorate of Operations as a non-official cover (NOC) officer, was part of an operation tracking distribution and acquisition of weapons of mass destruction technology to and from Iran.

Uh, I forget, didn't Bush say he would fire anyone who outed a cia operative ?
Oh wait a minute the evidence all points to that gunslinging fowl mouthed guy but he hasn't been convicted yet. Nice coverup by the administration.
(pun intended) sorry.

Now you bring up a good point, L.
