The day Pinnacle put $45,000 in my account by mistake

Never forget that one: playing races at Pinnacle, and my balance suddenly increases by $45,000.

It was useful because slow-grading wasn't a problem, but kind of annoying to have the money sitting there.

Were they testing me?

I notified them, and they wrote back to say "thank you for pointing this out to us. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Funny thing is they knew exactly how much it was over, so why didn't they catch it at first?

They made a similar mistake with an account of mine, but involving a MUCH smaller amount. I didn't get any thanks though for pointing it out. So far, they've never made any mistakes that resulted in my balance being lower than expected though so I can't really complain.
