FYI: Howard Schultz of Gambler's Book Club is looking for Howard Sartin. He would like to buy some of his material for resale. Supposedly Sartin has disappeared from his long time address and no one has been able to get in touch with him. Sartin was having medical problems and the medical bills that come along with that but if anyone has heard where he is at or how someone can get in touch with him you might give Schultz a call at GBC numbers:

I doubt very much that Doc would comply with Howard's request. Last I read, Doc wanted his methodology to die out with him. Too bad. But then again, very good for those in possession of and benefiting from his printed material and software.

Yes of course-odd how the mind works or in my case doesn't work. I was reading about Starbucks and their CEO their CEO Howard Schultz just before I wrote this and
made a mental note of not swapping names. OK I'll try it again...Don't think of pink elephants, don't think of pink elephants, don't think of .......................

I very much doubt that Howard has moved, or disappeared. He has been firmly entrenched in the hills above Banning for almost 50 years. On the other hand, I have no problem at all imagining him completely ignoring all attempts to contact him. Twenty years ago, he suffered from bouts of depression and would unplug his phone for days at a time. Frustrating when you are on deadline. Wanting to die and take all his stuff with him sounds exactly like Howard. This way the myth lives on and his name becomes one to be conjured with.

What I heard about Shane leads me to believe he's no longer involved in handicapping. And O' Henry House is no more.

I have a bunch of old Sartin hand input programs. The one I'd like to revieved was Thoromation. Liked to watch those horses run accross the screen.:D

Every now and then something would catch your eye and it was a good wager.
And you could boost the slow lines.
