Is there anywhere that I can get the final win, pace, and show pools (dollars bet on each horse and total amount bet into pool) for a specific race the day after the race?

I don't know of a place the next day.

Until midnight on the day of the race you can get manyWPS pools for most racetracks here:

Thanks. I found some information for the race in question (the 7th at AQU today - 1/29) that seems to have slightly larger pool numbers (at YOUBET).

According to my calculations the winner of the race should have paid 2.40 to place and not 2.30 (and the 2nd horse should have paid less) but I may be using incomplete pool amounts or doing the calculation wrong.

If someone can correct me, I'd be thankful.

What about the formula causes favorites to pay a little less and other horses to pay a little more. I can clearly understand how the extra foreign money if heavily weighted towards a favorite could lower the price without me seeing that money in the pool, but I don't see what else could impact it. Hmmn
