Dutrow has entered Golden Man and Byanose Joe right back in Sunday's $60,000 Brutally Frank Stakes at Aqueduct, just three days after finishing second and third in an optional claiming race on Thursday. That will be the 3rd race in 9 days for Golden Man, and Dutrow plans to run him. Interesting....

Dutrow pulled a similar move with Golden Man this summer. He ran him in the Long Branch Stakes at Monmouth, then the very next day ran him in a stakes at Delaware Park. The horse had the guts to finish in the money at DelPark on a very hot afternoon...why he keeps doing this short rest bit with him is beyond me.

Almost forgot. Two Toetoe bet-againsts, which usually mean you should take the rubber band off the wad:

Aforementioned entry, GM and 'Joe;

Introspect. Last time, when he ran in the Gravesend(?), I said he'd be a bad bet in the allowance race earlier on the card, for which he wasn't eligible. Now I put my money where my maw is, as the winner of that alw., Man Of Danger, is in the same heat tomorrow. 3/1 for Introspect(HATE him) and 8/1 for MOD.

Not only is it the third race in 9 days for Golden Man, he also ran on Dec. 1st and 4th. If he goes Sunday it`ll be 5 races in just over 5 weeks. And he worked 5f on Dec. 18 and 6f 0n the 24th. Talk about a throwback to when horse were horses. :confused:

Golden Man was obviously not well meant first off the long layoff.

Dutrow is probably a little disappointed they cancelled tomorrow's card as I'm sure he was hoping to slip him in somewhere.

Dutrow:
Fans have never upset me in any kind of way. No one has every said anything to me after a race that has upset me. They usually are happy after we win a race for them. They know I am trying to win every race and that when I get beat I feel as bad as they do. I have been lucky with that. No one has insulted me or my horses after a race.

I'll see if I can't change that at the Spa!
