Picks for Aqueduct Monday:
R1 #5 Levendis-Didn’t have a chance last time when he had trouble. In his lifetime 70% of his wins come on this inner dirt surface, and he should get an honest pace to run at here.
R2 #7 Lapis-He gets a positive jock switch for this. Nice half mile drill last week. Should be decent odds here behind the 2 ML favorites.
R3 #5 How’bout No-She had a brutal trip vs the ML fav in the statebred stakes in her last start. More than likely she’ll be sent to the lead today. Has been in steady training since last. Should be tough here.
R4 #10 Raceland-Trainer/jock connect with 25% FTS. Dams other runner won at first asking also.
R5 1a Look No Further-Looks very tough against this bunch. Should be able to establish a clear lead early if he wants it.
R6 #9 Little Suleyman-Barn is deadly with second time out runners. Gets lasix today also. Trainer/jock clicking at 25%.
R7 #3 Rodeo’sbeenspotted-Back quickly after what looks like a prep now. Barn has been successful with this move before. Should be close to what looks to be a slow pace.
R8 #1 Silvestris-Goes back to rider to win with her last. More than likely she’ll be battling for the lead here.
R9 #4 Statesman-May not have cared for the mud last time. Look for a rebound here.
