Picks for Aqueduct Sunday:
R1 #8 Feverish Move-He continues to get no respect from the linemaker here. Very honest runner is 3/6 at this distance, with legit excuses in his losses. Nice drill since last.
R2 #7 Regal Engagement-She raced greenly while battling 3 wide in her debut. Probably didn’t care for the turf next time out. Returns with some steady drills and is bred to like the longer distance and the off going. DD key.
R3 #1a Heart of Jules-He usually puts in a good effort on the off going. Will get the lead here, and if he can catch a breather somewhere he’ll be tough to overhaul.
R4 #6 Wind in the Forest-Sticking with the hot FTS sire here. Forest Camp still firing with win-early runners. The dam has also dropped a runner that won first time out.
R5 #8 Kiss and Go-Might get a good stalking trip here while taking another stab at the route game.
R6 #3 Conquest Bound-Shouldn’t have any problems getting the lead in here. But don’t expect more than 7-5 on her either.
R7 #8 Cherokee Chief-He hasn’t been breaking alertly since coming over to AQU. He was pretty reliable as far as early speed goes prior to his last 2. Hoping the bug boy will be aggressive today and pop with him at a price.
R8 #1 Fast Laner-Will prove to be a great claim when she takes this. Certainly likes the inner dirt surface, and she should be able to get the lead here.
R9 #10 Whereforartthou-Didn’t get the best trip last time out. Should have an honest pace to run at here, nice drill since last.
