I remember betting him when he beat Danzig Connection, and maybe Mogambo, in the Young American ( when that was a big race ) at the Meadowlands.

He only ran, I think, twice at 3. I used to see Jonathon Sheppard at the Meadowlands in 1986 and I always asked him how Storm Cat was doing. He gets so much hype as a sire that I think most people don't realize what a good horse he was.
