For all you Belmont players, I just wanna share this.
I play ONLY NY races 99% of the time & yesterday i got off
early & cabbed it home to start playing. And 1 more tid bit,
Every Race, no matter if i'm betting it or not, i RATE the FAV and
any other horse that's heavily bet, on a homemade 3 point scale:
(1) YES, Formidable; (2) umm Not Sure, Maybe; (3) NO F'in WAY.
It's amazing how many, many dumb dollars are bet.
Take the 8th at Belmont: There is ONE & ONLY ONE positional
speed horse in the race, Abreeze, and it's a 5-horse field!
Wire-2-Wire victory & pays $18..hehe ... But the fact that even
$1 was bet on Toms Thunder was amazing. He stood zero chance, was over-classed, over-worked, at a bad distance, yet
was $2.25:1 ... hehe ... Sometimes I feel like a classical pianist at a Rap party ... Yet i wouldn't mind some exposure to this rooms
concepts like pace #s ... at present i do not use them or fully
understand them.
