anybody like to discuss this gang fight?

I kind of like the 4 horse.......... "simply because"

This looks like a serious horse race.................

Speed packed to say the least....

I've only looked over the raw numbers, and have consulted my bias crystal ball, which says early speed, particularly good early speed shown in most recent race, is the way to go at 7f at SA so far....but this race is WAY packed with speed and again, it's at 7f...lol

Therefore, I can't really go with my top pick here, longshot Resident Alien, because she will most likely be cooked like a Christmas goose if she engages early, and she has nothing late to offer after a battle on the lead. But I will place a token win wager on her because she will be monster odds.

So, who do I INTELLIGENTLY like in this spot? The 1a, Mystic Chant...the NY shipper. Her last race puts here right in the mix ability wise....she has excellent early speed, and she can improve off her last.

Her late numbers are absolutely nothing to write home about, but I am looking for someone with speed here, regardless.

For a filly with slightly better late numbers and still decent speed, the Baffert runner My Miss Storm Cat is an interesting pick....

Three Degrees

She's a "turf" horse & can't possibly compete on the dirt. :)

I'm hoping that's what the public thinks & that 8/1 morning line goes up, up & up.

I think this race sets up for the closers today – track is sealed in the slop but they will run their eyeballs out, is the way I’ll be wagering. The fractions should be outta sight here, maybe 21.0 and 43.8. I’ll be betting that the 10-13 will come flying late to get their picture. Plus that's where the value should be

“A’s” --- 10-13
“B’s”--- 9-3-1-12

Good luck but I can’t see the 4 (simply because) he will be waaaayyyy over the top if they run fast early

Knowing Michael Hushion, an Allen Jerkens disciple, is the master of shoeing for an off track, I've got to go with GREAT INTENTIONS. I'll take the 1 over the 2 & 12 in exactas and also reverse taking the 2 & 12 over the 1.

The 9 looks pretty tough in here..............I still like the 4 to hit the board.

But leaning a little toward the 9........some race to cap

hehe, yes Tee and I know you to also loved the 13 (pussycat doll) Just like us to look like idiots in the race before but get some redemption in the feature.

Now as far as taking candy away from a baby that just depends on “what kind of day we’ve had at the windows”.

Best to you bud in 2006
