Luckier than Dan Hendricks. Now, will he admit to his mortality? Odds, ladies and gentlemen?

Here's wishing Mr. Norman a complete and speedy recovery from his injuries. As a handicapper I'm considering how his stable will perform in the upcomming Oaklawn Park meet that he dominated last year. Without him on the grounds will his horses be able to keep their edge as well as they have shown this year? I'll be looking at his runners more closely because of this situation.

He is already home....I think he will be at OP opening day.

That's good news. I'm glad to hear he's recovering so well. He must be a tuff-crust if he can go back to work so soon. I've had broken ribs stop me for longer than that.

It will be interesting to see how the handlers do making the move north. I'm sure he knows better that anyone what will happen if he cannot attend to the details of this important meeting. Once again I wish him and his family my best.

As long as the hand he uses to administer the needle wasn't hurt his stable will be just fine.

BTW I love Norman's Gilded Time gelding Cut Off Time in the LA Futurity tomorrow. :jump:

As long as he doesn't get his medications mixed up with his horse's medications, he'll be fine.

I have to think the medicine chest in his house must be pretty big. :D
