Brisbet handles the US pools for the UK.

do a google query on "betting exchanges" and you should find a bunch of sites -- IBETX, BetehorseX, etc. However, if you're like me and live in Connecticut, it is illegal to bet online.

Actually, now that I think about it, BetehorseX might not have English races.

I don't know if it's legal or not in USA but the "best" (with the biggest volume of money) betting exchamge for UK races is betfair

Betfair won't allow accounts for people residing in the U.S.

I have an account with www.sportingbet.com.
They are a public company with shares traded on the London Stock Exchange.
They will take bets on EVERY race run in the U.K. (I'm not sure about Ireland).
I'm a U.S. resident and I've had the account for many years. I don't know what their rules are today regarding U.S. residents, but I don't think you'll have a problem.
I've NEVER had a problem of any kind with them.

I use www.bet365.com
They've had my account for a few years now. Great customer service and they'll pay off in a heartbeat.
