Tough spot: would like to see the USC-Texas national championships, but then would really like my alma mater to do well today in the big cross town rival game....still haunted by the 1967 21-20 loss to them with O J. in the backfield
Will Texas score 100 today? Answer: It's up to them!

wouldn't that be a crazy thing to do? let the 3rd and 4th string play the rest of the game for the expereince.
They are playing, and they still might score 100.

dumb, you've won the game, why risk your starters?

They aren't, I meant that they ARE playing 3rd and 4th string.

when you drive around Austin (at least when I lived there) instead of a decal on the car's rear window that says The University of Texas, they change it to read Texas, the University
Remember our beating them once when Ricky Wiliams was on the team something like 66-3 or 66-6 setting a record for the biggest lost by a top ten football team

1997
Texas was ranked 11th at the time & it was only the 2nd game of the season.
Texas went on to finish 4-7.

there will be VERY LITTLE doubt that the two best college football teams will meet this year for the BCS title.
Who'd have thought that the game of the day would be Akron - No. Illinois? (Tough loss, Valuist. What a game for Wolfe.)
Oops, I mean game of the week, of course. It was more entertaining than all of today's games put together.

A friend of mine was at that game. I think Williams was hurt; I believe Cade McNoun was the QB for UCLA. Started a real long win streak for the Bruins.
RXB-
Tough loss for my Huskies. Because he's only 5'7" 175 lbs I'm afraid Wolfe will only get a look as a punt returner in the NFL. It was good to see another ex-Huskie, Michael Turner, come in and replace Tomlinson last night and the Charger offense didn't miss a beat.
