I was going thru some of my old racing boxes in the cellar and came across

an old Domino System entitled, 'you can't lose must win system' It was a

method where you just played the first and second favorite to make $2 per

race using a due column with you dividing the due column by 3.

Ironically, I used back programs and found out the method actually was a

winner for 2 straight weeks. Maybe I have a fortune in my cellar (as opposed

to the guy looking for a dead rat in his cellar)

What was the average field size and odds? Was that prior to software, Beyer numbers and pace figures, when 'cappers studied?

Whether or not the thread is meant to be serious.......

Since one of the first two betting favorites wins about 53% of all races, you can make $2 a race for a long time before you run into the inevitable losing streak. Eventually, you'll come to a point where you have to bet large amounts in order to win that $2 per race.

The other problem is that you're basing the test on results at known odds. Actual odds can change dramatically, especially nowadays, from the time you bet it until all of the money is in the pool.

You are absoultely correct the results were taken from the charts

and being at the track with the last minute changes would be deadly in this

method. It was written probably back in the 60's by Tim O'Brien and was

one of the many systems you could purchase from domino which I guess were

pirated from everyone under the sun. I still have not found a PM referring

to this post . Stanley Viskoski keeps selling method after method where

he takes the results from the charts and back fits selections to come up

with enormous profits after the fact.
