Went to bet a college basketball total for Tuesday night......$100 limits?? WTF is that? Are they so fearful that they can't even put out a higher limit early? In any event, it was kind of funny seeing a $100 wager drop the total a full point at one of the world's bigger offshores.

Why don't you give out your big line mover play :)

I bet EIU/St Louis UNDER 130. It fell after I bet to 129 then within 15 minutes it was down to 126. Since it has risen back to 130. I know that sportsbooks are paranoid re: the little known teams like Eastern Illinois.

EIU has a new coach and I heard him interviewed last weekend before they played Xavier. He said offensively they will struggle since they spend 80-85% of their time at practice working on defense. They did struggle offensively at XU, scoring only 35. XU put up 80 on them, but Xavier has quite a few players remaining from the team 2 years ago that almost made the Final 4. Athletically, there's no way EIU could slow them down. But a slow tempo team like St Louis? This should go under.

Early season basketball lines are shaky at best. Sharp bettors make a killing early in the season. Still, as you say, it is very surprising that the largest book would have such small limits.

This Eastern Illinois Under angle has been solid so far at 3-0. I'm going to keep playing them under until the numbers catch up and they go over. I'm on the under at 140 1/2 tonight against Tenn Tech.
