Someone sent me a link to a site that has a 'FLASH MIND READER' on it. I find it amazing. I'm assuming it has been programmed, but I haven't figured out the mystery of how yet. If someone can figure it out, can you let me know? Wouldn't mind haven't something like this to predict winners at the track somedays...LOL. Anyways, here's the link if you want to try the test yourself:

Kind of freaky at first. But every time you get a list of numbers, no matter which number you choose you will end up with the same symbol. (notice that the symbol associated with 0 is always the answer)

LOL - Boy, are you easy.

(Okay, so it took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. It is very well done.)

OK Dave, How does it work?

Goes by 9's 0,9,18,27, etc. They all have the same symbol. For example any number in the 40's will give you an answer of 36 (42-6, 47-11, etc.) any number in the 60's will give you 54 (66-12, 69-15). They just make sure every 9th value starting with 0 is the same symbol.

Banacek,

Thanks.

I got lost trying to fathom what you were trying to say in your explanations. However, I did figure out one of your clues. I think I got it now.

1. For example, if at first you choose a number in the 90s, the answer will always be found in the next range of numbers down (i.e. the 80s) The answer in this case will be 81. For the answer, the symbol will be the same no matter what number you choose in the 90s range.

2. Same goes for the next number range down...i.e the 80s. The answer will be in the 70s range. In this case, choose any number in the 80s and the answer will be 72. And so on down the line.

3. The correct answer for each number range has the same symbol.

4. Every time you click on the crystal ball, they change the symbols around to give an extra aura of mystery for your next round of guesses.

---Now, if I could only figure out the mystery of picking more longshots at the racetrack.

Witch Dr,

The real point is to note that the majority of numbers in the table cannot come up. They are just to help confuse the situation.

All the numbers that are possible, carry the same symbol in each try.

Even though I've figured out how this puzzle works now, I think it's still fascinating enough to send on to some of my friends via an email.

Interesting that adding the integers of any two digit number and subtracting the result from the original number will always yield a number divisible by nine.

Also interesting that the symbols are keyed to different numbers each time the screen is refreshed.

The divisors of nine always have the same symbol.

Worked two times, failed two times.
