I decided to tally up the results from my Oak Tree longshots and the numbers faired pretty well.
10 selections (10-1 M/L or greater) produced:
2 – 1st (20%)
3 - 2nd or better (30%)
5 – 3rd or better (50%)
and for the “super” players
8 – 4th or better (80%)
Betting “win only” produced a ROI of 404% (+304%)
Betting win & place produced a ROI of 327% (+227%)
Betting “across the board” produced a ROI of 279% (+179%)
