JR - hate to break the news to you but this happens all the time elsewhere. Generally, the tax is a hidden tax but the result is the same: you have a superior view, you pay more to the assesor.

Same house - one on the lake, one a block away. The one on the lake will be worth more and taxed accordingly.

Some of us older guys need rebates/refunds. The view is diminished yearly due to overgrowth. :lol:
