Hoosier #1
#8 - Faced tougher last out routing and the shorten up should help here. Top 3, real shot
#2 - Gets better jock and the rail, Drops out of 7.5k race where showing speed, looks to hang on longer tonight. Shot
#1 - Notice the bounce pattern every other race, coming off a good one but should be in top 3 here. Shot
#3 - Looks good on paper but beaten twice in a row now by the #1 horse RJ Formula & 0 for 23 lifetime mark
#5 - Can hit the board with these connections but doesn't appear likely top 2 here - 3rd/4th
#9 - High aspirations for firster they obviously recognize in the works that he's not speedball and open him up
in a maiden 5 race. Worked 6 furlongs in 1:19 and 5 furlongs in 1:05.4 doesn't look that appealing at 6-1.
#7 - Trainer 0-19 with maidens and horse has not hit the board yet
#4 - Shown nothing vs same company - PASS
#1A - PASS

Hoosier #2
#7 - Final times look sharp going 5 1/2, drops out from an allowance race last out. Expect top 3 here
#6 - Look out for Prescott on the class dropper for Gary Patrick. 2nd off drop to Statebred company, should get a piece.
#8 - Biggest threat here with Wisner. Zuniga is vulnerable and had chances. Horse is 4-0-2-0 at dist and moving up but fits
#2 - Trainer is sharp but I don't trust Bracho any more than Zuniga, horse is a top 4 contender here.
#4 - 3-1 is a short price for a trainer who is 1 for 44 overall. Has run 1.07.3 and 1.07.4 in last 2 going 5 1/2. No wins jock/trainer…
#1 - Would not surprise me if this horse did run 3rd/4th on an off track. Absolutely lousy connections but horse does get rail + pace
#5 - Looks to run for about a quarter and then fold. Doesn't finish races.
#9 - Shown absolutely nothing in last 4 sprints or in last 2 vs. same company PASS

Hoosier #3
#7 - Didn't appear to have an excuse last out other than racing a little wide, 2nd off drop from Mdn 15k fastest in last 3 going 6f
#5 - Some interesting angles with this firster. Impressive 36.1 gate work 10/27/05 and worked with dogs prior to that from gate
#1 - Has finished top 4 in last 4 starts vs either 7.5k or 5k company. Should be top 3 here based on last 3 sprint efforts
#2 - Laurente and Hummer not impressive connections but horse has enough gas to finish 3rd/4th here with a rail trip. Not top 2
#3 - Has quit after pressing the pace and had the inside last out. Can't see top 3 here
#8 - Not impressed with either the drills or the debut or the drop from Statebred MSW. Lasix may trigger under play. Bad connex
#9 - Hit gate and trailed in debut. Adds lasix and shows a big drop. Works aren't all that impressive. Unclear here, Why Brinda?
#6 - Trainer drops class from 15k in search of signs of life. 0-12 with sprinters 0-10 with maidens. PASS
#4 - Outrun and failed to menace in 2 career starts vs. same level. PASS

Hoosier #4
#4 - Certainly consistent and versatile at either route or sprint. Most consistent 6f times of group and consistent router
#3 - Rates a nice shot here. Hasn't done anything wrong since returning from layoff. 2 good drills and faced tougher last out
#9 - Good chance here on the stretchout from 6 furlongs. Respect Tracey Wisner plus the horse had a wide trip througout last out.
#1 - Expect an attempt at a wire job from the rail here. Drops back down from 10kN2L and raced wide entire trip last out.
#10 - Bomb play from Hawthorne. Due to Cosme and Bill Duncan. Can see hiting the board underneath here.
#8 - Always far back last out vs. this same group. Tough race here don't see top 3.
#5 - Gets a 4 lb bug allowance and will show speed . Has failed as fav in last 2. Off 6 week layoff w/marginal drills. Others look better
#7 - Broke maiden here going 6f but hasn't shown any ability vs. winners in last 2, finishing 8th in both races. PASS
#6 - 1 for 46 lifetime and doesn't appear to have enough for this field. PASS
#2 - Hasn't shown enough to compete here. PASS

Hoosier #5
#7 - Looks very sharp in last 3 starts. Extremely consistent miler running 1.40.3/1.40.1/1.40.2 in last 3. Riecken 7-2-0-3 at HOO this meet. Capable here
#3 - 3 for 7 at Hoosier and last 2 route efforts have been sharp. Gets the bug 5 lb allowance and shows early speed
#1 - Look out for the railbird here. The horse has been top 3 in last 3 of 4 & drops into conditioned N2Y from open 5k where he finished an ok 3rd.
#9 - Horse fits off last effort. Capable underneath player here. Shows good consistency in last 90 days vs same level. Player
#4 - Capable to hit the board at 20-1 with Casteneda, Key sparingly in 3rd and more in 4th
#8 - Beware of Martinez here. 34% off 61-180 days and the horse has 5 wins from 8 starts at the distance. More likely under here but careful to include
#10 - Steps it up after 4 length win vs N1Y, final times are a bit suspect for this group. Multiple horses are about a second faster going a mile.
#5 - Dropped from N3Y to N2Y last out and showed nothing. Doesn't have an inside enough post to compete here.
#6 - Trainer is 4 for 12 and 3 for 8 this meet but I don't like anything about the horse. Looks 2nd tier here
#2- PASS

Hoosier #6
#2 - Prescott does appear to have the best horse here. Slow start going 5 1/2 last out may have cost him. Expect top 3 vs this group.
#8 - Looks sharp on paper but 15-0-0-3 at 6 furlong distance and 12-0-0-1 in 2005. Dropped from 12.5 to 6250 now to 4k N1Y. Expect top 3 here
#1 - Loves to hit the board at Hoosier and prior to bad post last out going a mile the horse was right there in prior 2 starts vs same company. 24-3-5-8 at HOO
#4 - Beware of connections. Gogel and Ignacio are 2 for 2 at HOO and the horse does not look the best. Expect a price. Can clear top 4 here.
#10 - Don’t see an eminent wakeup but horse can be competitive. Put in 4th on super ticket.
#7 - 0 FOR 19 trainer but no others look remotely competitive on the bottom
#5 - Best of the worst.
#9 - Off slowly in 2 of last 3. Don't see a game effort here. PASS
#6 - Looked good but saw the layoff of 15 months and have to pass with only 1 prep work.
#3 - Layed off since March 24th, 2002. PASS

Hoosier #7
#7 - Has pressed the pace and been ner the lead in last 2. Receives 5 lb. Bug allowance and has shown improvement in last 3 starts.
#3 - The 35.1 gate work prior to the only start was impressive. This horse deserves another shot here and may very well get the lead. Drifted badly from 9 hole in debut
#4 - Ran a decent 1.07.2 going 5 1/2 last out while racing on the inside. "Best of others" in that race.
#10 - Will be undeserving favorite here based on last race. Gets the far outside here and has had the 1 and 3 posts in last 2 where finishing 5th and 4th. Looks very beatable
#1 - Forced in bumped start in last race and beaten by 7 lengths to the #4 horse in this race. Don Brothers is the best trainer in this group, try again.
#6 - Made a positive impression from the 10 hole last out when finishing 4th at 65-1.
#2 - Better post should certainly help here but the trainer is 0-22 this meet.
#5 - Never near the lead in 3 lifetime starts vs similar. Chases, tires.

Penn #1
#3 - Could be the wildcard here. Drops in from 10k at Philly. Close up and faded last out.Kravets/Quinonez clipping at 24%
#2 - Pressed pace from rail and tired last out going 6f, shortens up to 5f but no guarantees here - stopped badly last out.
#5 - Beaten 1 1/2 lengths last out by the probable fav. #6.
#6 - Don’t forsee this horse getting the lead. Both the 5 and the 6 will probably chase the #2 horse.
#1 - Wames is 0 FOR 30 overall and this horse only has 1 gate work at Belmont Trt. Why pay 10k for a horse and put in for 7.5k at first asking?
#4 - Showed nothing vs. the 5 and 6 last out. Adds lasix but trainer 0-8 FTL and 0-9 with 2YO's - PASS
#7 - Hasn't run a positive beyer in 3 lifetime starts, dead last in all 3 attempts. PASS

Hammer the 3,5,6 trifecta box and account for #2 in 1 ticket in case he does decide to run a full race today.

SHRP #2
#6 - Like the drills, the trainer with MSW and the move from turf to dirt.
#3 - The obvious choice here try to beat with the #6
#4 - Last drill was a good one going 4f. Dropping from MSW and has 2 drills over the HOU surface
#1 - Must use with 5 consecutive gate works he's obviously coming in ready to play

SHRP #4
#9 - 0-28 maiden finally gets the job done. Let's hope for higher than 4-1 odds here…
#3 - I really like this 2nd time starter adding FTL
