Weird exacta at Meadowlands

9th race, $69,663 pool (at last Supertote update). #5 is 7/2 (same as its morning line) and is second favorite, while #9 is 9-1 (6-1 morning line).

The race comes 9-5. The exacta is $81. The weird part is that the probable payoff for the 5-9 was $91.

The only thing even mildly odd was that the longer priced horse winning was a shorter exacta. The payoff seems close to in line and considering the payout pool ( after the take ) was just over 50K even a $200 exacta would significantly cut the price.
