Picks for Aqueduct Saturday:
R1 #3 Youngnow-I like his pattern after the long layup. Proven at a route of ground, and this barn does decent with the turf/dirt move.
R2 #3 Leadwithyourchin-Didn’t get the best of trips last time out. Barn has had an outstanding year. Like the jock switch to Dominguez here as well.
R3 #1 Late Night Lover-Ran a few good dirt sprints prior to the brief layup. Probably wasn’t very well meant in turf comebacker where he had a bit of trouble. Look for a well meant effort today.
R4 #6 Popular Delusions-Lightly raced runner has shown flashes of ability in his limited starts. First run against winners was a disaster as he didn’t break alertly and was forced to go wide. Returns with Prado today and should be a decent price.
R5 #5 Sinkwich-Laid up since eventful debut. He has a noteworthy drill a few days ago and should compete here with a clean trip.
R6 #7 Takeaprofit-Barn has a good record with runners going against winners for the first time. Moved up when lasix was added in maiden breaker. Should be competitive in here.
R7 pass
R8 #7 Indian Vale-Shouldn’t have much competition for the lead here. Won’t be much of a price, will probably be 6/5 or less.
R9 #6 Spotlight-Trainer/jock have an outstanding record together. Has the proven class and figs to make her tough to go against here.
R10 #6 Incorporatetime-Can see him getting the lead in this field. Seems to run his best when contending for the lead, so I’ll take him here at a decent price.
