BROADBAND PHONES

I was considering switching but I wanted to know the pro / cons. anybody out there using a broadband phone, what do you think?

I know a guy that just switched over to Vonage..he likes it, sound quality he says is good. Price is right.

It has gone down a few times tho, so something to think about, these things are not lifeline quality. I think I'd want a cell phone for backup.

I have had a Time Warner broadband phone for over a year now. No problems and free long distance, call waiting and caller id all included.
