For nearly 60 years, the United Nations has marched relentlessly towards its vision of a socialistic, one-world government, all the while being financed by U.S. taxpayers.

As you probably know, this organization's latest attempt to destroy the sovereignty of the United States came in the form of the new International
Criminal Court, which would allow them to prosecute American soldiers for acting in military actions not first approved by the U.N. (such as our action in Granada, for instance). And while Bill Clinton signed this treaty just before leaving office, President Bush has thankfully rejected this treaty and the give-away of our basic civil liberties.

But it's not enough. No matter what we do, the U.N. continues its attacks on U.S. sovereignty, while we continue to pay their bills. It's time to
put a STOP to this nonsense.

Finally, we have a chance to do just that!

Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), a stalwart defender of American sovereignty and liberty, has introduced H.R. 1146, The American Sovereignty
Restoration Act. This bill would repeal the United Nations Participation Act of 1945 and other specified related laws. If passed, it would direct
the President to terminate U.S. participation in the United Nations, including any organ, specialized agency, commission, or other affiliated body. It would also require the closure of the U.S. Mission to the U.N.

H.R. 1146 would also PROHIBIT

(1) the authorization of funds for the U.S.
assessed or voluntary contribution to the U.N.;
(2) the authorization offunds for any U.S. contribution to any U.N. military operation; and
(3)the expenditure of funds to support the participation of U.S. armed forces as part of any U.N. military or peacekeeping operation. Finally, H.R. 1146 would bar U.S. armed forces from serving under U.N. command.

Sounds GREAT, right? There's just one hitch...

...This bill, with 12 co-sponsors (both Democrat and Republican), is *stuck* in the International Relations committee.

And that's where YOU come in.

At ConservativeAlerts.com, we've set up a way for you to send "faxgrams" to ALL 49 MEMBERS of the U.S. House International Relations Committee AT
ONCE, plus a faxgram to the Committee Office itself, demanding that H.R. 1146 be voted out of committee and sent to the House Floor for a full
vote. The cost is ONLY $19 to send ALL 50 faxes -- less than it would cost you in time and money to send them yourself, and it only takes a minute!

P.S. Herbert W. Titus, the senior legal advisor to The Liberty Committee (thelibertycommittee.com), has noted that "H.R. 1146, The American
Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2001, is the only viable solution to the continued abuses of the United Nations. The U.S. Congress can remedy its
earlier unconstitutional action of embracing the Charter of the United Nations by enacting H.R. 1146. The U.S. Congress, by passing H.R. 1146,
and the U.S. president, by signing H.R. 1146, will heed the counsel of our first president, George Washington, when he advised his countrymen to
'steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world,' lest the nation's security and liberties be compromised by endless
and overriding international commitments."

It's time to untangle ourselves from this socialist one-world monstrosity call the United Nations. It's time to get the U.S. *out* of the U.N. Please CLICK BELOW to send your 50 Faxgrams NOW:
