Sometimes those guys will throw you off. If I had a dollar everytime Beyer said 'that horse has no shot'...then the horse wins for fun...lol :D

Both Crist and Beyer are super knowledgable and very anylitical, much more of both than I am. Their opinions based on these anylizations perhaps trumps my very unknowledgable estimation of great horse flesh.
It can work both ways i.e-Super opinions become myopic thus limiting or profitable in which case , who cares? Certainly not Beyer or Crist.
For the vast majority of us, we will do our own estimations of class, apply some numbers that we hope will be meaningful and play into acceptible odds. I'm not going to try to beat these two guys but I am going to try to beat the BC.

I agree, it's one thing to respect others but it feels much better when you score on your own, or with friends.
