Even if he had it I doubt he would send it to me.I asked him about a manual he had written A Day at The Races that I was interested in.He told me he only had one copy ,so I asked him if he could please make a copy for me and I would gladly repay him for it.I never heard a reply from him.Too bad I really respect the guy for his work on Pace Makes The Race and his money management ideas.I guess he just doesnt want to be bothered. Thanks anyway for the suggestion. Shoeless

Eneregy was widely distributed on the OLD large floppies and had a very strong copyguard on them so making copies (unless you had sophsiticated software) would corrupt both the original and the copy, so you will probably need an original......

ShoeLessJoe,

Check your email.

BTW Energy was distributed on 3-1/2 floppy and cassette tape for use on Sharp handheld computers.

Dick,It worked out fine, since I have no manual Im using one of your articles in the old follow ups as a guide Reading Energy Printouts.By the way I liked your presentation on money management back from the 1991 Las Vegas Seminar you had quite a bit of interesting things to say. From that Pirco tape it was like a all star lineup yourself,Doc,Brohammer,Bradshaw,Purdy and Hambleton to name a few.I dont know if you remember back that far but the presentation by Gary Owens was also interesting .He was from Canada and talked about first projecting the first 3 calls of the race and then picking your pacelines from that.I wish I had more info from him but have been unable to locate it.Anyway there was a lot of good stuff on there.Shoeless

"Ace the Pace" Gary.

Excellant presentation in Albany.

Gary was one of many who's star burned brightly for a bit, then disappeared. I have no idea what became of him.

Gary organized and was a major contributor to the Toronto seminar in '92, (still got my 'Class of 92' pin) with Doc, Brohammer, Bradshaw, Sandy Hawley (!) My first live connection with the Sartin band. He showed videos of betting and winning endless races in a row from LV.

I next received a mailing from him around '94-95, disaffected with racing, in Vancouver, and offering me such a deal on a multi-level home security system business.

A real live wire.

Ahhh yes...I remeber the home security deal now.
He called it "Ace the Pace (windows) and protect the Place!"
