The python was bumped up in class to where was over his head, but you gotta give him credit for not being a quitter and having heart  .

The gator was in over his head, quite literally. At least until he bit thru the python's stomach.

Definitely had heart. Can see it lying there! :D

Game, even in defeat! Gotta love him! :D

On the more serious side:

Pretty disturbing that the enviornment there may shift signicantly from all these non-native predatory 'exotic pets' being released into the wild.

Having problems with discarded exotic fish in Lake Michigan as well. Some fighting/pirana type fish from the orient are showing up more and more, who are feeding on the normal fish and sea-life. Not a good thing. Also affects the sports and comercial fishermen, etc. and the ecological balance.

I am scared crap of both, so that result was perfect for me. I would definitely pay money to watch the next one.

I can sympathize, gator usually does that to my stomach too. A little pepto usually proves to be an adequate cure though.

Steve-

About a month ago a guy was fishing somewhere up near the Wisky border. What does he see in the not too far distance? An 2 foot long alligator sunning himself on a log. Another case of somebody dumping a pet. Can you imagine the shock of seeing an alligator at a lake in Illinois? The guy must've thought he was hallucinating.

Gotta wonder what it would feel like to have an alligator in your stomach. Probably something like after eating a bunch of White Castle burgers :D

Yeah, and just like the White Castle burgers the gator didn't stay there long either......
