Joe Bravo

What do you guys think of Joe Bravo picking up the mounts this Saturday at Belmont on Pomeroy and Angara?? Stevens is out of town to ride Rock Hard Ten. I don't know too much about Bravo and his riding style.

I think trainers like hot jockeys and to get weight off, whether it improves the horse's chances or not. Good luck Joe.

I think JB rides FrontRunners very very well. He rides at Monmouth and there speed has an edge.

Coa ran such a good race with him last time out, I wonder why he is not on Pomeroy again, and is on the 2 horse ML of 15-1? Maybe it was always Bravo's mount and last race was during the time he was injured.

I think the deal is Stevens has these horses and by using bravo he can replace him even if they win, where if its prado or bailey it makes that tougher.

I forgot to mention Bravo in my 'Musical Saddles' thread. It's surprising that he got some huge mounts, considering all the 'shippers' with big names.
