Hawthorne race 9, going against the heavy favorite (Hail to Humor) who keeps finding a way to lose, and playing #8.

The big favorite won as it pleased, and my horse ran an even race to get third.

Hoosier, race 10, playing #9 Grillberger

Grillberger laid just off the pace while losing several lengths on the clubhouse turn, moved gradually towards the leaders while going several paths wide on the far turn, took the lead just before the stretch, and was kept to task to the end to win by a couple of lengths.
