Right idea. I didn't like the 3/5 favorite at all. Unfortunately, my horse didn't do much.

Calder race 9, playing #5 and #6.

#5 didn't do too badly at 21-1. #6 didn't do anything. The heavy favorite won easily.

Belmont race 9, playing #9 and #10. The favorite looks overrated.

#9 vied for the lead and gradually got clear in the stretch. #10 broke poorly and never got into it. The favorite had some traffic trouble, but it never responded to urging thereafter.

Emerald, race 2, betting #2.

#2 got bet down from 5-1 as they loaded to 3-1 when they went off. It resisted pressure in the stretch and pulled clear late.
