So who's it going to be in the AL? With the A's pretty much out of the wild card we're left with the Indians and White Sox in the Central and Yanks and Red Sox in the East. Both pairs of teams face their divisional rival in the last 3 games of the year. Add to that the Angels and As go at it in a 4 game series earlier in the week. Looks like a spectacular finish all around. My predictions
AL East: Yankees, but not by much
AL Central: Cleveland...easier schedule, sorry South Side
AL West: Angels...too much of a lead now and won't get swept by As
AL Wild Card...Boston, could flip flop with Yanks but have to over come problems with Toronto
If things stay the way they are, that would make 1st round Boston vs Cleveland and NYY vs LAA. October looks like a lot of fun.
