In race 6, I'm taking a flyer on #6 One Mile Limit, currently 8-1. I'm also playing an exacta 1-6 / 1-5-6-8 and a trifecta 1-6 / 1-5-6-8 / all.

Nice Stab Midnight. Your hoss was giant, spoted the field 10 lengths at the break, swept the whole field , just to yield to the 3-5 shot at the wire. Nice !!!!

Zafonic: thanks, wouldn't have had the exacta anyway (seldom put the big chalk in).

Race 7 (RP) taking a flyer on #8 and an exacta: 5-8/3-5-6-7-8. Looking for a meltdown of 1-2-4 on early speed duel, worried only that #8 will get too bad an early position, it isn't known as a deep closer.

Had the winner straight, the second chalk took me out of the exacta. Stupid chalk have been beating my longshots all day. Part of the game.

Race 8 at RP, taking a flyer on #2, and the exacta 2-9/1-2-4-8-9.

Didn't really expect #5 to do anything at MNR.

#2 won a nose-bob with #4 (three other horses within a half-length, typical RP turf calvary charge). #9 was close at the end, too.

win $19.80, exacta $121.80. Lucky to win it, though.

Back a bit later with the last at RP.

RP race 9, not much to choose from. Taking #6 and the exacta: 6-9/1-3-5-6-9 (Leaving out #8 for second, too low price).

I'll cut you some slack on that one. I had the 6-2, 6-8, 2-6, 8-6 covered pretty good in the exactas. I got another great run for my money.

The 8, who won, was a contender, but too low in the odds. I didn't play #6 when I saw it go down to 3-1. Still lost some on the exacta, was basically four of the five chalk anyway. All exotics were short, and if they pay short, I usually don't have them.
