Hi
I was wondering if anyone knows of any websites that have
audio files of famous race calls
Of course I would love to hear 'He's moving like a tremendus machine
I also remember hearing on WfAN in NY play something before breaks of
the stretch run between Sunday Silence and Easy Goer which was great
''' it was Sunday Silence in a racing epic!

Thanks
Binder

The Kentucky Derby Site has some video footage of every Derby from 1921 on. Some of the early ones are from newsreels or bits and pieces of footage, but overall, it's impressive

That was the arguable the greatest momoent in racing history. I feel sorry for Sham - any other year, he would have been a triple crown winner. What luck - he was really taking to Big Red in the Belmont - like a great horse would. Unfortunatley, he was taking it to a super horse.

Reminds me of that Steven Segal movie - he tells this guy to hit him in the face - give him his best shot one time, free shot. The guy winds up and lambasts him in the kisser. Segal smiles and says, "No, no. I said your best shot!"

That is class in action!

I think Sham hit his head on the starting gate and knocked out some teeth in that race if I'm not mistaken
