Picks for Belmont Sunday:

R1 #4 Outright Stormy-He looks tough in this spot. Should be right up on a soft pace, and comes out of a race that has produced two next out winners.

R2 #1 Espanola Way-Got involved in a 3 way duel for the lead in his debut going longer. Barn does well with second out runners. I like the entrymate some too.

R3 #8 Roanwiththepunches-Looks tough in here. The last fig was legit, and there’s only one other confirmed frontrunner in here. Returned with 2 nice drills in the interim.

R4 #2 Great South Bay-Returns to the surface where he’s run his best races. Gets back a jock that he has run well for in the past.

R5 #3 Better Now-Two good efforts in two starts. Ran in productive race in her debut. Added distance should move her up.

R6 #10 Mambo Minstrel-Barn does very well with the sprint/route-dirt/turf move. Breeding says he should move up on the grass also.

R7 #3 Sir Greeley-The one turn mile specialist should be tough here. I’m not sure what happened to High Fly, but after watching Noble Causeaway run up the track at Saratoga I have no hesitation betting against him.

R8 #6 Shakespeare-Will be a short price here so a serial bet single may not be a bad idea. Proved his class last year by beating Prince Arch, a runner that went on to defeat Kitten’s Joy. Makes his second start with lasix here.

R9 #1 Capeside Lady-Her two turf races are the only really poor efforts in her past lines. She’s got a good running style, able to lead or lay just off the lead. Good spot to notch her first G1 win.

R10 #3 Speedjama-Chased a solid pace going longer last time out. Gets a positive switch to Chavez, with whom the trainer is 2/7 with on the turf. Longshot play.
