Like 2 trained pigs they came 2-3. Comp odds of 3/5.
Exacta $17
<b>R2</b>
1-KB
2-SH
6-BL (big works since raced)
They came 2-1 with the 2 getting the lone-f,
lollypop trip. CJ saved plenty for the run to the wire. Comp odds of 1/9.
<b>R3</b>
4-B
8-SS
Again, the trained pigs result. 4-8. Comp odds of 2/5. Exacta $13.20
<b>R4</b>
6-AP
7-S
8-LJ
The 7 gets the money. Comp odds 3/5. Put the 6, April’s Project, on your HTW list. Needs a stronger jock or if Scott stays on it needs an outside draw. Joy is a free-reining rider and needs to be in the clear. Started P3’s here thru 1/7 and ending on the 5 horses in R6. $2 tickets thru the 1 and $4 tickets thru the 7.
<b>R5</b>
1-S
7-B
Oh boy, trained pigs again. 7-1. Comp odds 2/5. Exacta $7.40
Started P4 here. Double-dipped the P4 (played it twice) using the 3 in R8.
<b>R6</b>
2-A
3-CB
7-FM
10-O
11-LL
It comes 10-11-2. Comp odds 2/5. P3 comes $190 for $2.
<b>R7</b>
1-CM
3-I
6-FFAK
It comes 6-1-3. Convenient for them to leave the rail wide open for perfect-tripper FFAK. If the 1 (12-1) hangs on my P4 gets juicy!
<b>R8</b>
3-WS
4-SF (This one from a very cagey outfit)
10-SW
They came 3-5-10. Kent was all out to get the money with the 3 at the wire. Put the 10, Special Willy (15-1), on your HTW list. He ran the entire race in the 4-path and was striding out nicely at the end. P4 comes back $102 (for $1). The double-dip worked out!
So in spite of the chalky evening, and no straight win bets due to low odds, I still managed a nice day with the exactas in the three races where there were just two contenders; and the P3 that I had a couple times; and the P4 twice.
I had some throw-away Tri and Exacta bets in the 4th using the 6 that ran 5th at 25-1.
And, my stable won every race.

Richard,

Damn fine piece of handicapping. Don't appoligise about not betting to win, you took the money where you found it.

One point about formatting.....instead of using "<>" like you would with HTML, use "[]".....HTML is turned off on this board (as it is on most boards out there in WWW land)

Thanks, PA. I knew I was doing something wrong.

Can't win 'em all!
