Getting very close to opening an on-line acct. TCBETS offers a 25% sign-up bonus & a 7% rebate on all bets, credited the following Monday. You can bet via the net or phone.

This sounds like a reasonable deal. Any thoughts from other posters who use this site or who could possibly steer me in another direction would be very much appreciated!

7% rebates on $50000 and over.

FM,

What's that old saying?..."Investigate before you invest".

--On the plus side, TC BETS offer a more extensive selection of tracks, thoroughbred and harness, compared to some other offshore books.

--Rebates not as big here as some other offshore books.

--Make sure to read the fine print at the TC BETS site, with regards to service charges when making deposits and withdrawals.

I don't know why anybody would open an account with TCBets. Their rebates are vastly inferior unless you are pumping out $50k a week and their caps on exotic wagers are a rip off. You'd be far better off with BetCris or Pinnacle.

-------------------------------------------------------------
From the TCBets site:

LEVEL OF PLAY/WEEK CASH REBATE
10 - $1000 2%
$1001 - $5000 3%
$5001 - $10000 4%
$10001 - $20000 5%
$20001 - $50000 6%
Over $50001 7%

Win Full track Odds
Place Full track Odds
Show Full track Odds
Quinella Full track Odds up to 300-1
Exacta Full track Odds up to 300-1
Trifecta Full track Odds up to 300-1
Daily double Full track Odds up to 300-1
Pick 3 Full track Odds up to 300-1
Pick 4 Full track Odds up to 300-1

Aaron, Mr Win & Rook. Thanks for your valuable insights. I think I'll look elsewhere for my online account. Muchas Gracias!!!

Anyone using TCBets?

I just got mail from TCBets offering a $125 sign up bonus if you deposit at least $125.00. This may not be a good long term betting site, but it is like winning an even money $125.00 win bet.

Never Mind. I found other threads that answered my questions.

I opened a TCBets account simply to take advantage of the $125 for $125 option. I think it has $6 in it now. Would not use them for exotics due to the caps, but I had no problems making win bets (other than picking slow horses) and liked the menu, with most tracks available.

I have used TCBets.com for about 3 years. I have never had a problem with them. Fast payouts via neteller. The $125 free offer is the stongest offer out there.

I play only win bets and exactas and I use Tcbets exclusively. Their limits don't affect me because it's 300-1 on exactas and track odds on win bets. If you play like me I say give them a shot.

Do they have good quality video? OR - NYRA tracks ?

Do they have good quality video? OR - NYRA tracks ?

If you mean do they take action on NYRA the answer is yes. They don't have video. I have TVG and HRTV (dish network) so I never thought about streaming. I would imagine if you need live stream online you might need an american book. There are disadvantages and advantages for using an american book and using one off-shore. It all depends on what is important to you.

Tried TC today for the first time, I could bet when the horses were moving into the gate. Betting was easy and no problems. I am a win, place guy so limits don't make any difference to me.

This seems far superior to the clunky and frustrating java setups of ehorse and pinnicle.:bang:

TCBets know gives 8% on all exotics.

They seem identical to BetCris now... 3% / 8% rebates, and the same list of rebate-excluded tracks...
