Racing Picture quality in NYRA

I've noticed that the picture quality at Saratoga is much better than anywhere else. It seems more vibrant and clearer. Do they just use better cameras than anyone else? I also prefer NYRA whole picture pan shot than th split screen used by most other tracks.

I've noticed that too! Some tracks have horrible ones, and replays(the next day) are awful for tracks that normally would have a good quality picture.

Saratoga is just naturally more colorful!

Like inthe Wizzard of Oz - B&W until they get to Emerald City.

Where are you getting the picture from?

I get my picture from TVG vis comcast. But I've also noticed the same difference at Belmont park. It's as if they record in film vs video tape for the rest of the country.
