Actually, I believe a Tore Rectum is the technical term for betting to show on a horse with T. Baze in the mount and having it run up the track - because what you have to show for it is a ... :)

I like Borrego as the best value. Should be able to save ground CT ahead of Choctaw Nation. Was passing horses in the stretch at Hollywood, and Del Mar is kinder to closers. Pace should be honest. Chavez isn't being reunited with Musique Toujours to come from behind.

I'm going Choctaw.
Will anyone one try to burn up Lava?

As much as I hate to do it, I'm going with Congrats notwithstanding that Terrible T. Baze will be up again, but I think that this horse is set to have a huge run in him with a little more endurance this time around. Even T. Baze has to cash one every now and again and hopefully Baze learned something from the last race and runs off the lead saving something for the stretch run. So who am I to question Mandella's judgment to stay with T. Baze - Congrats to win.

Perfect Drift should get the job done and at a decent price.

I like the 7 Panel WO for Musique Toujours as well as his back speed that rivals Lava Man. His best mid pace figure is better than Lava Man too. He may be a longshot, but I'd take a stab at him.

John,
Would "mid" pace be turn time?? Haven't heard that term.

1st 3-Borrego-----$24.40-----$8.80-----$4.20
2nd 12-Perfect Drift----------$5.40------$3.20
3rd 4-Lava Man--------------------------$2.60

Under the heading: Stupid is as Stupid does, please count me for thinking (against my standing policy) that T. Baze could ever ride a winner in a big spot
