Picks for Saratoga Saturday:
R1 #1 Neon Magic-His last 2 off track efforts were good. It so happens those two efforts were also against the same level claimers as today. I think we’ll see a contending run today. Like his entrymate some too.
R2 #4 Sweeping Glance-Like her to turn the tables on the ML fav today.
R3 #3 Yolanda B. Too-Will have to watch this race as it’s tough to go against this one. Had a lot go wrong in her last and still won as much the best.
R4 #7 Raphaelite-Has nice off track breeding and moves into a good barn here. He has fired fresh before.
R5 #1a Giant Basil-Like the breeding on this one, dam has dropped a few FTS winners.
R6 #4 Charlevoix-Came up short in his first off the long layoff. Bred for off going, expecting a better effort today.
R7 #9 Aaron’s Classic-Last dirt effort was decent, as he didn’t finish that far behind the ML favorite. May move up with the distance/surface switch.
R8 #7 Rapid Rickey-Had his prep, look for a send job with the switch to good ES jock today.
R9 #1 Funfair-Looks like a runner based on his only US start. Unleashed a nice late run in a paceless affair in last.
R10 #1 R Lady Joy-Off track may prove the difference for her today. Race should set up nicely for her late run.
