...Scientists from the Evangelical Center For Faith-Based Reasoning are now asserting that the long-held "theory of gravity" is flawed, and they have responded to it with a new theory of Intelligent Falling.

what in the heck is EVANGELICAL physics?

...."Founded in 1987, the ECFR is the world's leading institution of evangelical physics, a branch of physics based on literal interpretation of the Bible."

Faith based physics?? Oxymoron

All forces exist because the particles of the universe like to exchange smaller particles continuously:

The four forces of nature and their exchange particles are:

strong nuclear interaction: mesons
weak nuclear interaction: bosons
electromagnetic interaction: photons
gravity: gravitons (hitherto unobserved)

If you are on a flying saucer over a football pitch you will see some small men glued together.
Do you know it is because they are through intelligent choice trying to follow the rules of the game, or do you think there is a force acting on them and keeping them close together ?
So how do we really know the exchange particles are not a manifestation of intelligent choice ?

Unless we can communicate with the gravitons on the football field, asking questions of this kind is really not the realm of science. And to anthromorphisize sub atomic particles is not a valid scientific approach. We know empiricly inteligence requires some complexity of structure, yet you are willing to assume interior complexity to sub-atomic particles.

Interesting philosophical speculation, but an example of faith based physics.

We aren't really going to have a debate about A JOKE, are we?

Well, yes... maybe we are.

We have certainly debated things a whole lot funnier.

Personally, I think Kansas should add a tagline to all the "Welcome to Kansas" signs on their borders: 'Where no scientists are educated."

GameTheory We aren't really going to have a debate about A JOKE, are we? It did start off as a Joke about a Debate. Never can tell

Faith Physics is really against the bible.
For the Lord has expressly prohibited us from worshipping objects and scientific observations are objects.
Faith Physics, I declare now, is a sin.
Science and faith are two separate things not to be confused.
