I like Good Lord Laurie. She had to deal with a hot pace in both of her turf races. Maybe this one will be too with Dancing Edie in there, but at 15-1 I'll pay to find out.

Custom dictates that I playback Passionate Heat. Circumstance of recent days dictates that I put up Vatchesvendetta, because I have a vendetta to serve on some thugs who literally entered my house last night and nearly killed a beloved member of our family. Gonna go with a hunch and serve some retribution.

We live in an 1889 3 bdrm Victorian. At the back of the house is a cat/dog door. A gang of racoons came in through it and into the kitchen. They ambushed my 4 pound/12 year old Chihuahua who was having a late night drink of water while we were sleeping.

She is severely injured and is undergoing surgery this morning, but the vet believes she's likely to live and make a full recovery. Had we not rushed her to the emergency vet and given her a blood transfusion/surgery, she wouldn't be with us today.

The next racoon that enters my backyard is gonna die. I believe in revenge.
