I'll be heading down on Saturday morning for an amazing day of races. Anybody planning on being there too? (Steve, Valuist?)

I'm not sure yet. Its voucher giveaway day plus the Million so it will be a zoo.

Sorry. Early post that day, and I'm normally lucky to make it by Race 3rd on a normal day. Have a great time!

Can't be there as I have to work, and if they are running a voucher giveaway it WILL be a zoo as Valuist said. The last time I was at AP was about five years ago on a voucher giveaway day. They drew 30,000+ if I recall and the temp was 95 degrees. Brutal. The betting lines were so long -- and full of $2 show bettors -- that you pretty much had to get in line at the conclusion of the previous race to get your bet in for the upcoming race. I would pass on this one even if I was not working.

Good luck sealord, and have a great time.

I'm game to go if you can find out who the AP stewards have their money on first. :p

DQ's in the last 2 Millions. The 2003 DQ was warranted, IMO, but the 2004 DQ wasn't. I admit to being biased; getting Powerscourt taken down cost me a Pic 4 but even so, I think it was the wrong call. At least Jamie Spencer won't be riding Powerscourt this time.

Deleted, after seeing Valuist comment.

I haven't seen PPS yet, but Kitten's Joy has my interest. Ran 3 lengths faster to win the Secretariat for 3yos than Powerscourt did while winning the Million that same day (same surface and distance). Admittedly, that information has been public knowledge for a while.
