HAS ANYONE HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO NOBLE CAUSEWAY THAT CAUSED HIM TO BE SCRATCHED SATURDAY FROM THE JIM DANDY AT SARATOGA?

"Noble Causeway was scratched at the gate by jockey Jerry Bailey and New York Racing Association chief examining veterinarian Anthony Verderosa. Bailey told Verderosa that Noble Causeway did not warm up well."

I'm glad to hear Bailey was being careful with the horse.

I was at the track that day and I heard a rumor that something was wrong with Bailey, not the horse. But eh, I hate rumours.

I heard there was something wrong with the track vet, who agreed that the horse was stiff warming up (as opposed to stiffed during the race, which is what Bailey would have been accused of if the horse ran lousy).

Maybe Bailey slipped the track vet cash to scratch the horses because even though Bailey is retiring soon he he did not want to make jockey's fees and % for the race!LOL!! :lol:
