Boy, could a race be filled with more poker games than this one? Class hikers, class droppers, first after the claims, first with teams. Lots of angles to pick from, somebody's gonna be right.

When in doubt go with the best horse and hope for the best. Bonus Pack is that horse, imo. Add in that it's RD Bone & J Mullins 1st w/team & you have a pretty good play. He's 3-1 on the m/l, but could drift up because everybody and his sibling is talking about how cold T. Baze is since DMR opened.

Bonus Pack to win.

It's tempting to go w/you on BP, but I'm taking Fonz's.

Slower I know & terrible win %.

1st race off the claim, series of slow works; which for some reason I thought was a good sign for Carava off the claim, but I can't figure out where I came up w/that!

Ran a reasonable 3rd to Preachinatthebar 2 back & drops a bit here.

Couldn't get excited about the Harrington gelding moving up, Baffert colt dropping or the thought of the 7yo Ellis horse improving 2nd off the layoff when he's only run 14x in 7 years.

Not sure of what to make of Bone's gelding coming over from CD, so I'm taking the wait & see approach.

So, I'll back Fonz's to win, but mostly to show :)

Good luck.

I am going to play the move up in class off win angle and go with Cleartalker to win and place - plus if Indian Country doesn't fire off the layoff, then I don't see anyone else going with Cleartalker. Hopefully, Cleartalker will get loose on the lead and run home from there.

I took Indian Country. If I am not mistaken Indian Charlie loved Del Mar. I may be wrong.
