I hit the tri in this race by keying the 3 in all three spots with six other contenders. My biggest tri ever. I love Del Mar...

the rundown on my point system went like this with the #5 being top horse
#5 2.05
#9 2.65
#2 2.95
#6 3.05
#3 3.60

the #5 horse was my lowest total, if i double the number on the lowest ranked horse quite often i'll find that any horse within those peramiters will turn out to be some fairly solid contenders. so double the 2.05 on the 5 horse and i get 4.10 putting the 3 horse is well within solid contention of the 5. the 3 horse was the 5th ranked contender but not by alot. if i was to use this race in a pk 3 i wouldnt have been able to leave any of the 5 contenders out and feel safe about.
i didnt play the tri in this race and iam curious as to how you saw the 3 so clearly. anyway, way to go kingfin
