Picks for Saratoga Sunday:

R1 #3 Unnerving-Comes out of a pretty competitive race where he tried to close into a rapid final fraction. As honest as they come he should get a good trip here.

R2 #10 Prolific Appeal-Showed big time early speed when he got involved in a duel first off a layoff at MTH.

R3 #1 Votecatcher-Probably has much more ability than he showed in debut. Gets shades and JR for todays run.

R4 #2 Awesome Twist-Can be excused for poor effort in graded stakes where he didn’t get the best of trips. Has two wins at this distance, and should be a good price because of the probable overbet ML fav.

R5 #4 Kilimanjaro-Like the breeding for this one and the barn has been hot with FTS of late. Stevens sees fit to ride.

R6 #2 Wild Berry-Last fig looks legit as he cleared on a rapid pace. Pace situation looks favorable again as it seems there’s only one other runner that can match him early. Looks like he’s worth a shot if he goes off at 5/1 or better.

R7 #4 Shadow Cast-Won her last two on the turf, including a graded stakes. Honest runner could surprise here with a good trip.

R8 #5 Bucharest-Has shown some ability in his efforts in Kentucky. Has some excuses for his recent races. Has an excellent drill over this surface.

R9 #4 King of Jazz-Handled the jump to stakes company in last when he ran a close 2nd in a million dollar race at WO. Gets Prado for this, and should get a decent stalking trip here if he’s good enough.

R10 #2 San Telmo-Obviously doesn’t care for wet surfaces. Turf efforts are good ones, however. Hasn’t missed a beat in the am in prepping for this.
