Picks for Belmont Sunday:
R1 #9 You Are a Kris- Most of his turf efforts are good. Can’t see 10/1 here though.
R2 #6 Stash the Boots-ML fav looks vulnerable here. This one was overmatched when stepped up after the claim. Drops back to proper level and he should be right on the early pace today.
R3 #2 Game Card-Will likely establish a clear early lead here, and she usually runs well when she’s able to do that. Price may actually be decent despite the short field.
R4 #2 Merrimack County-I have caught some nice priced FTS with this barn. This one has a bullet drill on the turf and his breeding is decent for grass runners.
R5 #2 Naomi’s Hope-Didn’t have the greatest of trips last out. More than likely jock will send her to the lead here as there isn’t much early speed signed up. We should see a better effort with the 3rd start off the layoff.
R6 #11 Send It In-Responded favorably to the surface switch in his last two. Continued improvement should put him in contention here.
