Don't count your little chicks before they're hatched. First, Repubs have a poor track record for selecting conservative SC judges. And then the problem becomes even more exacerbated when you consider who the dimwit at the helm is.

2 days ago, I never heard of John Roberts, but from what I read, there's
nothing wrong with this guy. Unless some skeletons pop this is our next
SC man. btw, he's seems genuinely liked by his HS buddies --- and to me thats
a great sign.

From all I have read so far he seems like an outstanding candidate. Sure he's a conservative, anyone that Bush selects will be. But he seems to be a thinker who decides cases on the facts presented. I couldn't ask for more
