CJ very generously offers free figs on this site for the major tracks. They are a different version of the ones generated by his program. He was selling his program for $125 + a $75/year renewal fee. He limited sales of the program, quickly sold out, and privatized his site. Feedback from users here at PA has been that the free figures are very good by themselves, and that the figures generated by the program are lights out good. I haven't seen the program figures (I don't think), but the free figures look to be very good a long as they're used correctly.

I was one of the first to purchase after the BRIS/TSN version came out. It cost $100 for one year of updates and support, and $75 per year to renew. A bargain for what you get. These figures are outstanding. The freebies on the website are the Performance Figures only. The program also generates Pace and Speed figures for the Pacesetter and winner, as well as Pace, Speed and Late Pace for the horse. CJ capped his sales at 125. He reached that number a week or so ago and will not sell any more programs until a subscriber chooses not to renew. He also password protected the forum to subscribers only.

I can't put a figure on their worth, but I'll sell my copy of the program for $1,000,000... ;)

I went on CJ's site and checked out the free figures. Performance figures only, right? What do the bold figures signify?

bold ... indicates the race was on the same surface as today and at a distance within 1/2 furlong of today

To the guys asking these questions: you really should take the time to read Craig's site as in addition to the answers to these questions, he has other excellent posts suggesting methods for the use of his figs in handicapping races.
